Rainy conditions saw 42 brave competitors race today for our fifth race of the season. Drizzle on most of the course and heavy rain on part of it too. Some strong times despite the soggy conditions including Kyle Mooney with 52.23 – a great time considering the care taken in these conditions. Great to see competitors racing to the conditions and following our code of safety being first priority. As the saying goes – we ain’t racing for sheep stations!

Beautiful smile from Ginny
El Presidente and Mr TimeKeeper
Kyle and Judy

Some new racers today with Cohen Parker moving up from the juniors to the intermediate course for the first time. Nice work Cohen, great to see you have a go!

Christine Gannon returning for her first race in a few years also in the intermediate course

Looking good on the bike Christine – welcome back!

Big thanks to our Marshalls – Gerard, Hollie & Kaleb Robards and Jenny Scaysbrook. Thanks Jen for the action shots in this post too!

If you have not already done so, could you please nominate a date to marshall. We need 4 marshalls each week to be able to hold our races and really need your support. The roster will be on the registration desk each week or let us know via email or facebook and we can add your name

We need more marshalls for the 8th and the 15th January

Marshalls for next week are John King, Viv Wright, Danny Warner and Josh Horsley

Registration is now open for next week so jump on and sign up – looking forward to our sixth race of the season next Saturday
