Well for those that choose to say in bed, it was probably the better choice. Those of us, all 43 that ventured down to Twinnies were treated to extreme rain, slippery roads but a cool run. And fortunately, no one came unstuck on the greasy roads.

What a day to be rostered on to marshal, but a huge shout out to Mark Davis and Hippolyte Lanchou up on Fraser, Alex Gilks at Woodlands, Jonno Davis at Lochlomond and Matt Stanley the man wearing as much Hi-Vis as possible at Tooloona Drive.

Club Championships
Ok folks, next week is our last race of this season,  it will culminate in our annual Club Championship race, we are still taking nominations to complete. Subject to two clauses- 1. Completed a total of 10 twinnies races this season, and 2. Completed a marshaling post. If you wish to compete, please let me know via email. If you are unsure how many races you have completed to qualify, again send me an email.

Presentation Night
Next Saturday we will host our annual presentation at Twin
Towns Services Club commencing at 6:30pm NSW TIME. If you are after a ticket/s, or have any dietary requirements please let me know, you can pay on arrival. We need to advise the club of people attending by Wednesday 12MD NSW TIME.  Tickets are $30 for chip holders and $30 for non- chip holders. All ticket holders will receive 4 drink tickets. On your ticket is a tear/cut off section where you can nominate who you believe has done the most for your club this season, once all nominations have been received they will be complied and the winner announced during the night.

We are also reviving the ‘Galah Award’ for the person that has done the craziest thing on two wheels this season. Please send your nominations including supporting evidence ie bike video, photographs or just a short explanation to me HERE.

AGM
Our AGM was held this morning, oversighted by Mike Fraser- Club Chairman and Ken Culpitt -Director and President of the Golf Club from Twin Towns Services Club.  Normal AGM formalites were followed, Presidents report, Treasurers report, Junior Tri report etc. Then all positions were declared vacant. All nominations were accepted and the following people were elected as your committee for the 2019/2020 season;

President: Stu Crawford, V/President: Terry Simpson, Secretary: Jenny Scaysbrook,

Treasurer: Kent Holmes, Time Keeper/Recorded: Dave de Closey, Tracy Foyster, Ginny Jones, Darren Jones, Alan Bannerman and Kyle Mooney.

VP tall Terry Simpson addressed the meeting and thanked out going President Matt Lance for all his good work over the past two seasons.
