Another great morning greeted the 85 odd Twinnies Triathletes, dry track, little wind and just the right amount of temperature – not to hot, not to cold but jusssttt righttttt.

Twinnies was well represent at last weeks ends Kingscliff Triathlon with many hogging the podium;
Gerard Robards, Michelle Jones, Kylie Mison, Jenny Scaysbrook, Jo Colja, Leean Seary, Warren Copping, Lisa Ross, Des Gooda and James Mourant- congrats and well done

Twinnies Uniform, after success of our first order, there has been more interest. For those that have registered their interest we need your sizes. ASAP Saturday morning, for those who want one, this coming Saturday is the absolute last opportunity for some time. Remember you are getting a world class Tri suit for $100 thanks to the generosity of Your Triathlon Club.

Please, Please, Please if you have not yet volunteered for a marshalling post and intend racing in the Club Championships go to the Marshalling Page and choose a date and let me know via the contacts page. First in first serve. Don’t think you can turn up on Club champs without marshalling its just not fair, its not Cricket RIP Phillip Hughes

 Doctor Bike spoke on drafting, if you missed it have a look at this link. He also spoke on passing and using your arm to indicate your intention to motorists, wave your arm don’t hold it stationary, its like a solid front light –v- a flashing front light- you need to catch the motorists eye.

Twinnies Chrissy party was held on Sunday, so far there have been no reports of unruly or offensive behaviour, one committee member was scene to raid a local garage sale and then raffle off the goodies, and apparently DGC training may include some Yoga???? Just need to find a VHS player so stay tuned.

Traffic Rules, whether that be keep left, hand signals or RED LIGHTs, they must all be obeyed NO EXCUSES and Don’t forget our local rulz – Don’t cross the Pink Crosses
