Club News 20th Nov 2010

Club News from Saturday 20th November – Although overcast with a slight head wind at every turn in the bike leg, 88 Competitors had a good time. A reminder that registration closes at 06:00 NSW time. So please leave home a little earlier to avoid any congestion when attempting to register. The Christmas Party will be held at Shank Coolangatta on Sunday 5 December. Starting at 12:30pm NSW TIME (11:30AM QLD TIME) Cost for members is $15 with Non Members being $35.00

Mr President has asked all members to ensure all road rules are complied with, speed limits, red lights etc. We are annually subjected to approvals from …Council and the Police. Please ensure courtesy to all members of the public, particulary when on the run leg with residents attempting to leave their properties or access roads onto Darlington Drive.

Find us on Facebook, let other members know. It is a closed group- not open to the public, just request to join.

Members and visitors participate in the 500m swim, 14km cycle and 4.5km run for fitness, There is a cumulative point score handicap competition over the length of the season and an annual open and age group championship held on the final day. Start time is 06:00 with everyone expected to finish at or around 07:30am.
Juniors are encouraged to enter and enjoy the sport through our junior races conducted after the adult races during the season. See the footer below for more details
