Club Race No.9 5 November 2011
Following a successful campaign in Noosa, Twinnies had 7 members finishing in the top ten of their age categories. Shelly Roy put pen to paper and submitted her experience view of the race for a first timer. In all about 30 club members raced at Noosa and were well supported by the spectators. Remember that entry for next year’s race opens this coming Tuesday at 9am Qld Time.

Planning is underway for a Christmas Party to be held 10 December at Mavis’s Kitchen on Mount Warning Road – Bus Trip, Julie West will be providing more details soon.
Julie West and Julie Bloor again excelled with the healthy breakfast this morning; even Stu Chambers heard about it and turned up. 
Registration is open for the Kingscliff Triathlon being held on 19th February and the club has agreed to assist with providing volunteers at various locations around the course.

Doctor (Paul Woodger) Bike held the crowd’s attention whilst he explained in detail the correct process in changing a tyre. I’ll add Paul’s mobile number so that you can call him when you get your next flat tyre!
Demand for uniform has exceeded all expectations; as a result a new order will be placed soon. See Julie Bloor if you are interested. For those that placed an order, it is ready to be collected.
A few housekeeping issues were discussed at presentation, pool etiquette – be mindful when entering the water, diving over the top of people and alternate racking of bikes- this means that if you are placing your bike on the rack next to other that has its handlebars on the bar, YOU MUST mount your bike by the seat. OR move your bike to another location.
