It was a steamy morning for the 76 Twinnies members who managed to get out of bed early enough to come down and compete in our last race for the year. There were a few new pot holes on the road after the big weather event through the week so extra care was essential.

A reminder that next week is Boxing Day and the pool is closed so there will be no race. This will make way for extra cheer to take place on Christmas Day! We will be back to ‘business as normal’ the following week on January 2.

A big thank you to Steve West who shared his expertise and ran the Bike Maintenance Workshop. Steve skilfully showed all how easy it is to change a tyre and look after and maintain a bike. Steve certainly is an expert having done 18 Ironman Triathlons and having worked with Felt for many years. All who attended the workshop said that Steve was brilliant and a number of people plan to also go to his next workshop which will be early next year. Keep an eye out for the date and book early!

Marshalls

Thank you also to Scott Styman, Katie Glynn, Greg Freeman and Peter Serone for doing the marshalling duties this week.

Our next race is January 2 and the Marshalls are; Frank Adler on Fraser, Tim Eade at Woodlands Drive, Dave Hogan at Lochlomond RAB and Kylie Gibson at the Tooloona RAB.
