How much can the weather change in a week!
Firstly congratulations to Rob Gillies who completed his 450th race today – with approximately 26 races a year available and then throw in a couple of overseas holidays he takes- guess he’s been there a while!
We had 84 competitors racing around the circuit today under what could be considered ideal conditions.
A few things that need to be mentioned; when dismounting the bike – this needs to be done just between the two witches hats on the edge of the gravel onto the grass. Doctor Bike (Paul Woodger) discussed the need to ensure that the straps on your helmet are correctly adjusted. He went onto correct cornering techniques, with body positioning and using your outside leg to push down adding stability to the bike.
We will shortly be placing orders for uniforms. Contact Julie Bloor to place an order. Polo Shirts are also available. there should be a photo on the site later on in the week.
A reminder that signing on each week closes at 06:00 – DON’T BE LATE
Chris thanked all the Twinnies volunteers and participants that helped to make last Sundays Kingscliff Triathlon a huge success.
Random Draw winners:

Next Week the first breakfast of the season and the Junior (kids) triathlon commences.
