Race Report 1 February 2014
Again Twinnies members were blessed with perfect conditions for racing, and no doubt many will continue to improve and change their handicap. Although our season is nearing the end, there are plenty of outside races just around the corner, Mooloolaba, Kingy, Byron Bay, Park Run and Challenge Half just to name a few, so no doubt many will be training harder than ever.
Milestone
Well done to Marg Kearney who started racing at Twinnies back in 1992/93 season. Today Marg completed a total of 420 races.

A few observations and comments passed back to the committee;
- When turning left into Botanical Circuit after riding down Fraser Drive, please stay to the left – there is no need to go to the centre of the road to make that turn, and remember to look back to see if any cars are following you.
- Somebody went through a red light and narrowly missed person on the crossing driving a motorised scooter.
- When riding- please do not ride 4 abreast.
The ‘Russ Evans Memorial Towel’ which is awarded to the point score leader at the end of each month goes to Vaughan Skelly.

The four candidates for the $100 Twin Town Club Voucher which goes to the weekly handicap winner for January were; Scott Styman, Greg Little, Amanda Hall and Richelle Courtney. And the lucky draw from the barrel went to Amanda Hall.
