With the Twin Towns Triathlon Club championships over we see our season close……..
We had 9 women competing in the various age groups for Club Champions which was won by Tracey Foyster in a time of 52:43, Tracey also had the fastest ride at 26:07 minutes and Heidi Sowerby had the quickest female run time at 18:31 minutes. (Lisa Ross last year beat Heidi by one second, this year Heidi won the fastest run time beating Tracey by 1 second.)

All 7 age catergories were contested by 37 male competitors and it came down to the wire young 15 year old Brandon Copeland running down Matt Lance to win in an overall time of 48:39.
Matt Lance had the quickest swim at a blistering 6:02 minutes, with Thomas Faircliffe smashing the bike course in 23:17 minutes and finally our newest male club champion Brandon Copeland running the course in 15:40 minutes.
Brandon Copeland was presented with the trophy for winning the Under 18 category and the Club Champions trophy following yesterdays race. Louis Oram was presented with 2nd place in Under 18 category

Flowers were presented to Sandra Hammitt for her assistance in announcing the time every 30 seconds at the swim start – and still people miss their start??
The Club Presentation Awards Dinner was held at Visions Room Outrigger Resort, for those that couldn’t make it, here’s what you missed out on

Outgoing President Chris Watt put incoming President Ben Saunders on the spot with a ‘two minutes with Ben Interview’ we then watched as Chris put a couple of ‘ I should know the answer to this’ questions about his lovely wife Susie and their kids. Ben failed miserably.
