An update from Noosa, there is at least 30 Twinnies members plus support crew representing the club. Most registered shortly after arriving, toured through the expo, where club members Steve West was busy talking up the benefits of owning a Felt bike, then participated in the traditional swim around the island before retiring to the their accommodation.
Again, holding with tradition, 06:00 saw Twinnies members meet for a ride the hill experience, the next challenge was finding a coffee shop that would seat us all. After visiting at least 5 coffee shops, the group dwindled to 6 by the time we got to Organica the run course. Great coffee.
Transition opened at 10:00 for the age groupers, special dispensation was granted for Legends (10 races or more) allowing access 30 minutes earlier. That wasn’t enough for Tracy Foyster, who in an attempt to get the best possible position, arrived 1 hour earlier.

Years of training has made sure Tracey gets her prime spot
The wind has dropped, the clouds have cleared and the temperature is warming up. The organisers had called it a non- wet suit swim- damm.
