It was an early start for the 22 competitors who raced the Double Distance event this morning. The temperature was a little crisp as can be seen in the mist rising over the pool. A little later another 46 competitors completed the normal single distance race. All experienced perfect conditions out on the course with the wind holding off until after race completion and the temperature remaining mild.
Marshalls
An extra big thank you to our Marshalls this week who were out there for almost 2 hours, starting just after 5.30am! THANK YOU Jo Colja, Terry Simpson, Jeff Murray and Judy Murray.
Next week Marshalls are; Vaughan Skelly on Fraser, Adrian Bartlett at Woodlands Drive, Ginny Jones at Lochlomond RAB and Rob Worth at the Tooloona RAB.
Next week is the last week you can nominate a preferred date to Marshall. After Race 5, if you have not registered to Marshall, you will be randomly allocated a date and it will be up 
to you to organise a replacement if this does not suit. We need everyone to step up and have a turn marshalling as the race will not go ahead if we don’t have 4 Marshalls each week.
Reminder
Remember to register before 7pm on Thursday night if you plan to race next Saturday. We are unable to accept any race day registrations.
