Saturday morning was very quiet with a lot of Twinnies members competing in the Tweed Endura at Pottsville. We were lucky to have our race done and dusted before any wind appeared and the temperature was perfect. Lights are a necessity as the mornings are getting darker each week so it’s important that you make sure they’re in working order.

- Today we had 60 seconds with Warren Copping. ‘Wazza’ has been a member of Twinnies since 2008 and is a former Committee Member.

- The Mourant Family did well with the random draws this week with Lorraine, Richard and James all taking home a prize. It was Richard’s birthday so no need for extra presents!!

AGM
The annual AGM was held after the race. Mike Fraser, Chairman of the Board of Twin Towns as well as Ross Leary and Ken Culpitt attended the meeting to oversee the proceedings. We would like to extend a huge thank you to outgoing Committee Members; Jenny Scaysbrook, Terry Simpson, Virginia Freeman and Kyle Mooney. We would also like to welcome our new members joining the committee; Christian Andrews as Vice President, Michelle Jones who will take up the role of Secretary and Jo Colja as a general committee member.
Club Championships and Presentation Night
Club Championships is on Saturday 28th March and you will be able to nominate to compete this Saturday. You must have completed 10 club races as well as having done at least one marshalling duty to be eligible to compete.
Presentation night will also be on the 28th at Signatures Restaurant, Twin Towns. Ginny will be selling tickets after the race on Saturday so bring your money. It’s going to be a great night with Bill Chaffey our guest speaker.
