There were 63 competitors racing in our first race of Summer and I think most would agree that it was extremely hot and humid out on the course this morning with the highlight of the race crossing the finish line!
It was noted today that not all competitors had working lights front and back. Please ensure that your lights are fully charged for the race as it is a safety requirement that everyone racing must have working lights front and back. Thank you.
Last Sunday afternoon was the Christmas Party. It was nice to sit out in the breeze and have a social get together before the Christmas rush really sets in. Stu did a great job organising the event and sourcing the lucky door prizes. Thank you Stu!
Next week after the race Coast Cyclery are running a Bike Maintenance Workshop. This workshop is full, however, Kevi is looking into organising a 2nd workshop early in the New Year.
Kyle Mooney from Border South Physiotherapists is offering a free bike fit to Twinnies members. Please see details below.
60 Seconds with Wendy Wise.

Wendy is one of our long time Twinnies members having competed at the club for more than 25 years. During this time Wendy has been President of the Committee for a number of years and she is THE VERY FIRST female to have completed more than 500 races. What an incredible effort!
Marshalls
Thank you to Simon Harradence, Andrew Miller, Kat Miller and Mark O’Reilly for doing the marshalling duties this week.
Next week Marshalls are; Gerrard Robards on Fraser, Caleb Robards at Woodlands Drive, Danny Khazen at Lochlomond RAB and Steve West at the Tooloona RAB.
Reminder – Stu has now allocated members to Marshalling spots. Please check the Marshalling Roster to see when you are marshalling. If the date allocated doesn’t suit, please organise your own replacement. Thank you!
Uniforms
Apologies for not getting the uniform ordering link to you – Cannibal had a big computer hitch last week and they expect to be able to set up the link in the next couple of days. As soon as I have it I will post the link on Facebook, on the website and send out an email.
Have a great week.
Tracy 🙂
