Great conditions with blue skies and no wind saw 58 competitors race today for our seventh race of the season, with some quick times with Nick O’Reilly leading the field with a 54.18 – well done Nick

Next week we are finally open to all competitors (vaxxed and unvaxxed) with the easing of restrictions in NSW, plus we can welcome back the Queenslanders who I am sure are itching to race.

Well done to the Twinnies members who raced in Yamba Sprint Tri last weekend with a heap of podiums and some close finishers.

Reminder that we will be having a Xmas race and healthy breakfast NEXT Saturday 18th December for our last race of 2021. We will have door prizes and a presentation on the day with a BBQ and mix of cereals and fruits etc . You do not need to race on the day to attend – just let us know if you are coming prior so we can cater

Great temp in the pool today
Lots of Twinnies tri suits on show – including 3 former Presidents

Lights

Just a reminder, please ensure you have front and rear lights working on the bike and obey all road rules. WE HAD REPORTS OF SOME COMPETITORS NOT GIVING WAY IN ROUNDABOUTS – PLEASE ENSURE YOU OBEY THE ROAD RULES AS WE CAN BE SHUT DOWN WITH TOO MANY COMPLAINTS

Registration

Sign in closes at 5.50am NSW to allow time for the timekeepers to finalise the entries prior to the 6am start for the first wave. Please allow enough time to get registered and numbered pre race

Marshalling

Thanks to todays marshalls Tracy Foyster, Scott Collins, Greg Feeman and Ginny Jones

If you have not already done so could you please nominate a date to marshall. We need 4 marshalls each week to be able to hold our races and really need your support. The roster will be on the registration desk each week or let us know via email or facebook and we can add your name

We need more marshalls for the 8th and the 15th January

Marshalls for next week are Richard Mourant, Kent Holmes, and Kat and Andrew Miller

Registration is now open for next week so jump on and sign up – looking forward to our last race of the year before a 2 week lay off

Stay safe and keep training
