Ok, lets start with the “Not So Good News”

  • The good news is the Tweed is out of lockdown (ok, back in lockdown but soon to be out – fingers crossed!) but unfortunately, we are unable to commence our season yet as we are under the umbrella of community sport

  • The earliest indication we have would be mid to late October commencement for community sport, but we will keep you advised and are ready to commence the season as soon as we are given the green light.

  • We have a Covid plan in place from last season and will adapt that to any new conditions imposed upon us including QR code, vaccinations, social distancing etc

  • Keep training and pass on to everyone you know that Twinnies will be back this season

The Good News

  • One of our long term sponsors, Des Gooda from Des Gooda Coaching (DGC) has offered to run his triathlon training sessions at Banora Oasis Pools.  Run on a Saturday morning, these are aimed to get you ready for the season with tailored sessions especially for our members.

  • There will be a limit of 20 people per session, but Des has indicated he would run multiple sessions if needed to satisfy demand. These sessions will replicate the Twinnies course distances and are a great way to get in shape for the season.

  • Des has many years of experience in coaching athletes and is a long time member of our club and we really want to thank Des for providing this option for the members while we wait for the season to commence.

  • If you would like more information on how the sessions will run, costs and equipment required, please make contact with Des on 0439 752 591 or via facebook @DesGoodaCoaching or email at trinut@bigpond.com.au

Thanks for your patience everyone!
Let’s keep motivated & training so we are ready for October.
