It was wet and chilly at Twinnies this morning and it was hard to make the plunge into the pool but once underway the temperature was perfect, although the roads were very wet so cautious cycling was necessary. Numbers were low with not quite 50 competitors.

In 2 weeks, on the 23rd of January we will be running the annual Joe Kelly Memorial Teams Event in conjunction with our Australia Day BBQ breakfast. This is a great event and we encourage everyone to register. More details will be available next week.

Due to the success of the Bike Mechanics Workshop with Steve West before Christmas, Steve will be running another workshop. Please register your interest with Kev Bannerman and a date will be advised.

Marshalls

A special thank you to our Marshalls today who spent time out in the rain to make sure the race was run safely –  Matt Gabb, Kylie Gibson, Wendy Sanders and Caroline Hogan. 

Next week the Marshalls are; Ross Salmon on Fraser, Joe Ward at Woodlands Drive, Ben Hall at Lochlomond RAB and Manda Hall at the Tooloona RAB. 

Hopefully the rain will go away for a while and we can enjoy a dry ride over the weekend!
