It was another great morning down at Twinnies for the 64 starters and the conditions could not have been better. A huge thanks to those people who have already put their hand up to marshal. We are still taking nominations for marshaling, Remember ,come Week 5 – 24th October we will be allocating you a date to marshal.

Galah Award Nomination
We have received our first nomination for Galah Award, and that goes to Alan Kevin Bannerman- formerly answering to the name, “The Rock”, now going by the name, “GPS Bannerman”. Kev Bannerman has been a member of Twinnies for a long, long time and during that time has witnessed numerous bike course changes. Our current course through Botanical Circuit has been in use for a number of years. Today, GPS Bannerman forgot to turn left from Botanical Circuit onto Leisure Drive and continued on for a couple of hundred metres, upon whence he did not recognise the local real estate. Then turning back to return to the course. Congrats Kev on your nomination for the Galah Award.
Day Light Saving
It is now that time of the year when NSW and QLD operate on a different time. So for our Qld members, please remember that Twinnies operates on NSW time.
Registrations
Registrations are open for next weeks race- so get now before its closes at 7pm Thursday night. If for what ever reason you have registered and find you cannot race, please notify Dave de Closey via the Webscorer Account – ‘Contact the Organiser’ its the third tab down on the right side of the registration page.
