We were all happy to see much cooler temperatures this morning after a super hot week! With a little bit of rain around and the Tweed Enduro taking place today we had a small turnout of 38 competitors so there was plenty of room in the pool. Thanks to President 
Matt for overseeing the timekeeping. A big congratulations to Erin Davron who made the most of the great conditions to break her handicap and register an all time PB. Well done Erin

Double Distance Next Week
Next Saturday is our second Double Distance race for the season. All competitors who wish to compete in the DD event will start together at 5.15am so don’t forget to register before Saturday and arrive early so you don’t miss the start. It’s extremely important that your lights are charged and ready to go as most of the bike leg will be in the dark.
If you don’t wish to participate in DD, arrive at your normal time and your current handicap will apply.
Club Championships
Club Championships is only 3 weeks away. This year all competitors who enter have the chance to win one of two cash draws – $100 or $50 – remember – you’ve got to be in it to win it!!
Age Categories are
U16 (Int course), U18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59,60-69, 70+M, 70+F
Intermediate (U16) club champs to be held the same day as sprint distance club champs.
Starting Times:
Non-competitive 6.15 am; Open F/Open M 6.30 am; U16 6.45 am
Presentation Night
Presentation ticket prices – $30 members $50 non-members (no chip).
Ticket prices will include 4 drinks – beer, wine or soft drink. Tickets are available for sale now so remember your money next week.
The menu will consist of Entree and Main (alternate drops). If you have any food requirements please let us know.
The venue for Presentation Night will be in the main club, overlooking Jack Evans Boat Harbour.
