It was a great morning to be out racing and we had 68 competitors who enjoyed the calm and dry conditions. After the much needed rain we’ve had through the week it was a welcome relief to see the sunrise and clear skies.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to a new competitor this morning, Mel Duff. Hope you enjoyed the race and we look forward to seeing you racing in the future.

Thank you to Terry Simpson for doing a great job with the Timekeeping!

A big welcome back to one of our very long term members, Johnny Warren! Retired life has kept him too busy having a good time so the early mornings may have been not as attractive as they used to be! John has been a member of the club for 29 years and has completed 576 races. He has also competed in over 20 Noosa & 20 Mooloolaba races as well as representing Australia at the ITU World Age Group Championships numerous times. What a legend! Great to see you out there today John!
